According to paragraph 257 of the 2004 Discipline, "Each church or charge shall have an organized unit of United Methodist Men chartered and annually renewed through the General Commission on United Methodist Men."

Blood Drive - The American Red Cross will be collect pints of blood on Saturday, Sept 25th. House Framing - We will be framing a home on-site this year for a family in need - Bring Your Hammers!! Continuing Education Units - Will be offered for attending and participating in the weekend training activities and workshops! Information about the retreat is available online at www.rockeagleretreat.com. A resolution was passed at the 2010 Annual Conference, to Establish an Annual Day for Men Within the North Georgia Conference. The resolution states that the 4th Sunday of October is hereby established as "Annual Men's Day", to be observed by each church and charge to celebrate and recognize the work of Men in the church. The activities for this day are to be planned by the local Fellowship of United Methodist Men in consultation with the pastor in charge.

Manna - Recipes from the Men of North Georgia
Manna is an outreach project of the United Methodist Men of the North Georgia Conference.
Manna will be a book containing recipes and favorite scriptures from the men of the North Georgia Conference. Please spread the word in your men’s fellowship and in your church about the availability of this recipe book, which includes recipes for food for the body and food for the soul.
We are encouraging men to submit three of their favorite scriptures and a favorite recipe (we expect some overlap, but will pick one of these three for the recipe submitted).
We are looking for 100 recipes to fill the book.
The Manna recipe books will go on sale after we reach our goal.

Annual Business Meeting Election Results
The Annual Business Meeting and Leadership Training was held on Saturday May 15th, at the United Methodist Children's Home in Decatur, GA. The following United Methodist Men Conference Officers were elected to serve a two term year beginning July 1, 2010 and ending June 30, 2012:
